In a previous posting, the Tres Barcos was referred to as a grenache. According to the importer website www.welloiledwineco.com it is actually tinta de toro, which is another name for tempranillo.

Good luck to your daughter with her surgery, Jennifer. She’s certainly in good hands because I’m sure you can whip up some awesome food to speed her recovery along.
