Ciao Bella might open as early as today in the former Lulu Grill site on Erin Drive. Paul Tashie says they’re just waiting on the health department’s go-ahead. (But it’s the holidays and folks are off work., so call before you go and be sure they’re open: 205-2500)

A friend & I had lunch at Holiday Ham on Erin Drive today & there was still construction going on at Ciao Bella. Their sign is up but there were people going in & out of the bldg. w/ladders & tools. Too bad I didn’t know at the time & I could have asked somebody when their estimated competion date will be.

Apparently, Ciao Bella kept the inside fairly much intact. One of my friends reported they have a party room, which is probably the same one my group used for our 2005 Christmas party. It holds approximately 40 people comfortably.
