The Little Tea Shop was supposed to be shuttered today and Monday, while owner Suhair Lauck had eye surgery… it was noted in today’s Memphis Playbook.
But the surgery was cancelled, so she’s in the kitchen… today, making her version of chicken pot pie, and some mighty fine corned beef and cabbage. That restaurant is located on Monroe between Main and Front.

Any update on the status of Suhair’s eye surgery? I hope it went well if it’s over, or will go well if it’s still upcoming. Suhair, I’m the customer you recognized at Mortimer’s when we spoke at dinner there a few weeks ago
