The queen of Southern cuisine is coming to this year’s Mid-South Fair!
This is a huge deal, as Ms. Paula has blown up big ever since she started spicing up the Food Network with “Paula’s Home Cooking”… Comparisons to Martha Stewart are inevitable, as Deen recently helped launch a magazine with her fingerprints all over it. But let’s not forget that she starred with adorable Orlando Bloom in “Elizabethtown” last summer.

Yay for Paula! Good people deserve good things and we get to benefit from her visit to our fair city.

I embarrassed myself by trying to go to Ticket Master at Oak Court Mall, which apparently moved several years ago(!) My friend tried midsouthfair.com & found no info about Paula’s shows, nor did Ticket Master have anything available by phone. We can’t even find out where the shows are going to be held, but we are assuming The Coliseum. Wonder if Ticket Master was part of Paula’s contract.

Since when did Ticket Master get so darn uncooperative?! My friend called to get Paula Deen tickets Sat. & said they wouldn’t give her a choice of Thurs. or Fri., only “best available.” She did manage to get Fri., since the 3rd person in our party couldn’t go Thurs. Shows are at The Coliseum.
