My old blog was called Text in the City. Because I am soooo clever, it is just crazy. My current one is called “Mean Things They Say To Me” because all my friends are mean to me. I guess that technically makes them enemies. I also include my cooking fiascos, because I never manage to make anything good. My bean soup turned out to be an especially traumatizing experience. There are definitely some great blog handles out there.

It’s not a food blog, though I have, on occasion, talked about food. It’s called A Southern Girl’s Guide to Almost Anything.

My wife, son, and I track our dining and cooking experiences at our blog Squirrel Squad Squeeks. Our blog handles are Mama Squirrel, Squirrelly, Jr., and Papa Squirrel respectively. The names were inspired by a series of brilliant stories that my wife writes and posts at her blog.
Blogging is fun for us as a family because we get to extend and share our food experiences.
