The annual Italian festival is this weekend at Marquette Park, in East Memphis. I went last year and had a blast judging the entries for spaghetti gravy… very cool, on one of the hottest afternoons of the season!

While the event is a kind of mini Memphis in May BBQ setup, with booths set up for private parties, just an FYI, didn’t want you to be disappointed. Don’t count on eating there, the vendors last year were selling corn dogs and nachos… but there is live entertainment.
