Had an absolutely amazing lunch at Encore… tuna tartare burger with pomme frites. This was a novel treatment of tuna… ahi, chopped and formed into a patty, on a housemade bun with a seasoned mayo. It’s cooked rare, but didn’t have that funky texture that raw/rare fish can have.
My friend’s salad was good, especially the golden beets.
Got an order of handmade mushroom ravioli to go… $9 for three ravioli. An appetizer portion, really. I’m all for more sensible serving sizes, but this probably isn’t going to fly with the Downtown lunch crowd. Or, it might.

Hey Leslie! On the subject of lunch- What happened to Ericas? It was closed this week when a coworker went for lunch.
