I’m going to NYC Friday for the James Beard Foundation Awards, the annual Oscars for the food set. This year, the celebration will honor New Orleans and its incredible chefs and restaurants.
Before the awards ceremony Monday night, I’m going to get a behind-the-scenes peek at the Food Network… anything you want me to ask? Or, to be on the lookout for?

Just try to get a set up front where you can see and taste what’s going on. Oh, and enjoy.

If you do get to sit up front and Emeril gives you something to eat, don’t just sit and look at it. Some people act like they’re afraid to eat. Maybe they think they will look greedy on camera. I say “Eat up!”. Have fun!
