Had a lovely dinner at a friend’s home, with salmon flown in from Seattle. It was so good!
I volunteered to bring the starch… and went just a little overboard with sweet potatoes with a little maple syrup and lots of fresh ginger, roasted Yukon golds and mac-and-cheese made with Irish cheddar.
I didn’t feel so bad about dipping my toe in too-much-of-a-good thing when I saw the three desserts, including a darling bunny cake made by 12-year-old Abby…
